Mental Health Awareness Week - Bringing it all Together

Mental Health Awareness Week - Bringing it all Together

So far, Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 has been an amazing week for mental health, with lots of different people doing lots of different things to raise awareness.

Social media has been full of positivity, with people sharing their ideas on how to connect with nature (this years theme). Mind have been encouraging people to join their campaign for the fight for mental health and Mental Health First Aid England have been encouraging people to make a workplace culture change with their my My Whole Self campaign by asking people to take a My Whole Selfie.

We have provided information on how connecting with nature can help with your mental health and have encouraged people to give at least one activity form an A-Z list of mindfulness activities in nature.

It is great to see so many people come together for such a great cause, the stigma around mental health is lessening daily, and more people than ever are talking openly about their own experiences with their mental health without the fear of being judged.

The more we continue to speak openly and push for a change, the more open and accepting people become.

Thank you to everyone that has taken part in one way or another during this week to help raise awareness, keep uo the good work!
